Meet Darcy! <br/><br/>Darcy is a 1-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who has already been through more than any little dog should have to endure. She came into our local shelter with another dog, both of them severely matted and absolutely riddled with fleas.<br/><br/> Understandably, Darcy was scared and overwhelmed in the shelter environment.<br/>Thankfully, once she made it into a foster home, we got to see the sweet little personality hiding underneath all that fear! <br/><br/>Darcy has been wonderful in her foster home. She gets along great with other dogs AND cats, and she did wonderfully for her much-needed groom. She walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and loves being around her people.<br/><br/>Despite the rough time she's had recently, Darcy is proving to be a pretty incredible little girl.
