MEET DARBY! STATS: 2 years old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, 49 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super sweet and social girl! I love to play and run, but I am also down for some snuggles! I have a moderate amount of energy which is to be expected for a pup my age. I know when it’s time to play, but when it comes to naptime I am a professional! WHAT I LOVE: I love other dogs! I play super well with my dog friends here at the shelter. I also really love people (especially the treats they carry in their pockets!) I have so much love to share and I am so happy to be with people. My eyes practically bug out of my head when I see someone familiar! KIDS: While I haven’ t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my playful, sweet personality would make me a good buddy for kids that are respectful and kind towards me. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
