Darby came to us as an owner surrender and needs your help! Darby is a super sweet boy who will lie at your feet and soak up all the pets he can get! He is getting neutered on August 14th and is in the process of getting up to date on vaccines and vetting. Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
The potential adopter would fill out an application. We would contact them, and have an initial phone interview. The next steps are to set up the home inspection, and perform reference checks, as well as reach out to their veterinarian to make sure that their current or previous animals were all kept up on vaccinations, monthly flea/heartworm meds, and that they were well cared for, medically. After the home inspection, we would set up a meet and greet with them. Sometimes more than one meeting is necessary, especially if they have other animals. Once approved, they would fill out and sign the adoption contract, and pay the adoption fee, and we would then deliver the animal to them.
