Daphne! Petite Tripod Girl!'s Story
Daphne's adoption fee has been sponsored by our friends at Another Shot Coffee Roasters!

Meet our very sweet and friendly girl named Daphne! Daphne is about 1.5 years old, and she came to our shelter after she was found wandering alone on a very cold night. We could tell right away that Daphne had been a victim of neglect for some time. She was quite skinny and dirty when she came to us, and we could tell she just wasn't walking right. We had xrays done and discovered Daphne had broken her leg in the past, and due to not receiving care, her leg had healed incorrectly. This was causing her issues with walking/running, and dragging her back left paw causing it to constantly bleed. We made the decision with our vet team to amputate Daphne's rear left leg.
Now that Daphne has recovered from surgery, she is ready for a family to adopt her! Daphne is a very friendly and outgoing girl who loves everyone! She loves to be with people and stick by your side. Daphne would make a great companion for someone who works from home! She will lay quietly on a bed or couch chewing on a toy, keeping herself occupied. Daphne is not hindered at all by only having 3 legs! She easily walks, runs, and can jump right up on to a couch without any problems. She only weighs about 33 lbs, so she is easy to lift into a tall vehicle. Daphne gets along with dogs and she was non reactive in our cat room. Daphne can go to a home with children 8 years old and older.

If you are interested in adopting Daphne, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application!
