This gentle girl is still a little timid as she adjusts to yet another new environment, but she is settling in beautifully and showing us what a loving companion she can be.<br/>Daphne simply wants to know where her people are. Once she finds you, she is happiest lying right beside you or settling somewhere close by. She is a good listener and has a gentle, easygoing personality. She does have a sensitivity to sharp or loud noises and may react when she hears them. We believe some of this may improve as her confidence grows and she experiences the consistency and security of a loving home.<br/>Daphne absolutely loves car rides! If she thinks her foster family is heading somewhere, she is ready to jump right into the car. She also enjoys soaking up the sunshine and can often be found happily sunbathing. She is doggy-door trained and crate trained, although she would certainly prefer to skip the crate whenever possible. Even so, she settles in nicely and sleeps through the night.<br/>She is still getting to know the world around her, so her compatibility with dogs and cats is currently unknown. She would do best in a home with children over 12 who can respect her gentle nature and sensitivity to loud noises.<br/>We're giving this sweet girl the time, care, and confidence-building she needs to continue coming out of her shell.
