My name is Daphne!<br/>I am a young female, Maltese mix, almost a year and a half old and weigh approx 14 pounds. <br/>The start of my life was very difficult and lonely but I never gave up hope!<br/>I don't understand how I ended up in the shelter. I was nervous, not feeling well and hopeless! The shelter staff wasn't sure if I was never loved and socialized or devastated and shut down because I was left behind. <br/>My life has forever changed since I was rescued!<br/>At first so many things were new for me and very scary. Each day I build more confidence and trust in people. I have become an amazing and loving girl! <br/>I absolutely love my foster family both adult and children. Since I have been through so much,* I would prefer to be in a quiet adult only home.* It would be great to have another four legged sibling sinceI love the company all of my fur baby foster brothers and sisters. <br/>I am great on my leash and in the car. I finally have toys of my own and I am often found lounging in a pile of them.
