Daphne's Story

Meet Daphne!

Sweet Daphne and her siblings Velma and Fred came to us from sad circumstances. They were being kept outside without access to proper food and water. When they arrived with us they were very emaciated and fearful. They have been in one our loving foster homes for a few weeks and have gained weight and a little more confidence. They are still small at only around 6 lbs and are 4-5 months old. They will remain small as adults.

We would like to see these pups in home with people who understand that they need to continue to grow confidence. Socialization and training will be very important for them. Having another dog in the home is a must for these little ones - the social facilitation they gain from another adult dog will be very helpful to them to thrive. We will not consider them for homes where no other dogs are present. They are in a foster home with children and do just fine. They will do well with kids who are respectful and who are aware that young puppies are fragile.

The pups have received their first puppy vaccinations, dewormer and are microchipped. They will be spayed/neutered at our cost and at our vet between 8-12 months of age. This is not an optional procedure. Their adoption fee is $525

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
