Meet Dante!<br/><br/>Dante is an approximately 3-year-old Pit Bull mix that came to us after being surrendered to one of our veterinary partners with his four other housemates. Why was he surrendered? The old owner wanted to euthanize them all for convenience. Luckily, the vet clinic is doing everything in their power to find other resources for these pups, and Dante landed with us!<br/><br/>This sweet boy has now been neutered and vaccinated, and has made his way up to the Lexington area! He will soon be receiving his heartworm test and microchip, after which point he will be ready to go on and find his forever home! <br/><br/>Dante has done wonderfully with all the dogs and people he has met, and even did well with the clinic cat at the vet’s office! He is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll be his best friend for life! <br/><br/>Dante does well on a leash overall, but could use some fine-tuning and consistency to ensure he has the best leash manners.
