He also knows when to settle in for a nap or chew on his bones. He can be shy at first when meeting new people, but give him time and space and he'll come around in no time!<br/><br/>Story | Pulled from a high-kill shelter in Alabama before making his way to Colorado to become a mountain pup!<br/><br/>Other Dogs | Good with other dogs! Pickle loves to play with our resident dog and looks to him for guidance and confidence. He also reads social cues well and knows when it's time to stop playing. He would thrive with another dog in the home! <br/><br/>Cats | Pickle has not been cat tested, but has a high prey drive. <br/><br/>Children | Pickle is so sweet and we think he'd do great with kids!<br/><br/>Training | Pickle is potty trained. He sleeps through the night in his crate next to our bed without a peep! He does not like to be left alone in his crate during the day, but he does well free roaming with a peanut butter Kong when we leave. <br/><br/>Leash | He pulls a bit, but he's getting better with each walk.<br/><br/>Activity Level | Moderate. He's still got some puppy pep in him!<br/><br/>Health Notes | Healthy and heartworm negative! <br/><br/>Thank you! | <br/><br/>Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).
