Daniel's Story
01/10/26 Mana x Lookout no mc no collar. EM ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 1/16/26 ***** Intact male ~4 yrs old 75 pounds Vaccines given 1-17-26 No microchip ALT ID# 1-10-26 8 1/15/26 dog is sweet but very timid, warms up quickly, likes treats, did not want to walk on leash inside building, did better outdoors 2/20/26 - dog is very nevous, staff spent mutiple weeks gaining this dogs trust to be able to take him out for a walk. While out he started to relax and yawn. He could be touched but it was very minimal as staff didnt want to push him too much too fast. He took treats gently. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 1/20/26; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
