Danella’s FAQs

What is Half-Way Home Canine Rescue, Inc’s adoption process?

We are now a Siberian/Alaskan Husky/Malamute (mix) Rescue.  All of our canine "kids" are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They are up-to-date on vaccines and have had a rabies shot and tag, if of age. Each dog over eight months old has been tested for heartworms and treated, if positive, or put on a heartworm prevention, as well as flea/tick prevention. Dogs younger than 8 months are given heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention as soon as possible. All dogs are microchipped. A health record is included in the adoption package. Adoption fees are $400. (we no longer have puppies, most are approximately 1 year old and older) Our fees allow us to get another dog ready for a new family. Donations are alway needed and welcomed to help with extra medical expenses that the "kids" may have. Adoption fees  and donations can now be cash or debit/credit cards. Sorry we don't take checks. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL FOR DONATIONS. The Paypal Button is located under
