Dana

Dana is a cheerful and affectionate female terrier mix (just over 35lbs) with the most adorable ears and constantly wagging tail. She is a wonderful companion who warms up quickly to new people. While Dana likes to be near her people, she can also be left alone (she'll just make herself comfortable and nap). Dana is not a high energy dog, but she enjoys playing with toys (scented balls and treat dispensing toys are great), a chewy treat, sunbathing, and walks. Dana gets along well with her foster's resident dog, and a confident canine friend in her new life would be wonderful for her. She has a curious and spunky attitude and brings no fear to her exploration of the world. Dana is blind, so supporting her as she learns to safely get around her new home will be important. In her foster home, she quickly learned where everything is and now navigates house (including stairs!) and yard very well. Dana is a lovable, easygoing little soul and she will thrive in a home that can provide her with consistency, sniffy walks, and lots of cuddles.
