Meet Dana, a sweet and cheerful female Terrier mix. She is a wonderful companion who warms up very quickly to new people. She soon becomes an affectionate snuggle bug who can be very insistent that she belongs on your lap for belly rubs. Dana will follow you around and cuddle up with you anywhere you are. While Dana likes to be near her people, she can also be left alone (she'll just make herself comfortable and nap). Dana is not a high energy dog but, she enjoys playing with toys (scented balls and treat dispensing toys are great), a chewy treat, sunbathing, and walks. Dana loves other dogs and a canine friend in her new home would be wonderful for her. She has a curious and spunky attitude and brings no fear to her exploration of the world. Dana is blind and learning her surroundings so she can move around them safely and with confidence is will be important. In her foster home, she quickly learned where everything is and now navigates house and yard very well. An adopter would need to be able to support Dana in learning her new environment.
