Dan's Story
Meet Dan
7 years old.
Professional snuggler.
Tiny dog enthusiast.
Cat critic.

Dan is a Chiweenie with a big personality packed into a slightly chunky body. At around 24 pounds, he could stand to lose a little weight — but honestly, same, Dan.

He absolutely loves to cuddle and would happily spend his evenings curled up next to his favorite person like a heated throw pillow with opinions.

Sadly, Dan’s previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him, so now this sweet little guy is looking for a soft place to land and a family to call his own again for his golden years.

Dan prefers the company of other small dogs, tolerates large dogs if necessary, and feels very strongly that cats should remain far, far away from him at all times.

He does well with older children who understand dog boundaries and respect his space.

He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, walks nicely on a leash, and rides wonderfully in the car. He’s well past the chaotic puppy stage and fully committed to a lifestyle centered around naps, snacks, cuddles, and minding everyone else’s business from the comfort of a blanket.

One important disclosure: Dan snores like a tiny chainsaw. We’re not talking about cute little puppy sighs here. We’re talking full "who started power tools in the living room?" levels of commitment. Fortunately, his snuggling skills more than make up for his nighttime sound effects.

Dan would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal little companion with a touch of sass and championship-level snuggling abilities

If you’ve been searching for a tiny best friend who will love you endlessly while occasionally acting like a grumpy retired man at a local diner, Dan may just be your perfect match.

Interested in adopting Dan?
