Dallas<br/>Dallas is an adorable ball of fluff and seems to get fluffier each day. Although she loves to play with toys and her siblings, she is often the first to crawl into a lap for snuggles. She loves her people and will even go to sleep at their feet if she can’t reach the lap. <br/>Her mom is a poodle, possibly poodle mix. There is a photo of Dallas with her mom. Mom weighs about 11 pounds but I would expect Dallas to be a little bit bigger than that. She currently just hit 4 pounds at 8 weeks old. The large amount of fluff makes her look bigger than she really is. Her mom was rescued from the streets of Texas and came to her foster home when she was pregnant. The six puppies were born in their foster home and have been raised as part of the family.<br/><br/>Dallas is looking for a family who is ready for the fun and excitement of a curious puppy and the needs that come with a young puppy such as time, training and cost. This puppy will most likely need grooming regularly. <br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior by the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is by 7 months of age. It is the responsibility of the adopter to bring the adopted puppy back to the rescue vet for spaying/neutering or, if they choose, to send verification from their own vet (at the adopter's own cost) that the puppy had been spayed/neutered. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment ($20 surcharge on a credit card or paypal)
