Dallas Australian Shepherd Oklahoma City, OK

Dallas is an approximately 2 1/2 year old Mini Aussie who weighs around 30 #. He
is a happy boy who likes to play and jump. He would do best with a doggy
playmate of similar energy, although with the right home and adequate activity and
stimulation he might do OK as an only dog. He seems to do fine with both male and
female dogs once he gets to know them. He can be a bit bossy when he first meets
a new dog especially a male dog but with slow introductions, management. and
boundaries set he quickly learns to play. He is crate trained and house trained. He
does get excited and still pulls on leash some he so definitely needs a home willing
to do basic training with him and help him keep learning the ropes. We would not recommend him with really small children due to his hopping, but with training and
brain stimulation he should do fine with older children. He will need a privacy
fenced yard to run and play as Dallas has shown his ability to jump / climb over
chain link fencing. For this reason he won’t make a good apartment dog. Dallas is
the sweetest boy and is ready to find his furever family.
