Dakota

Dakota and her sister Ruby have had a long journey. They came from a home where they were not living in a sanitary environment which they escaped several times. During these ventures, Ruby sought out several cats. Although Dakota did not engage, we believe it would be safest that she be in a home without any kitties. She gets along with her sister Ruby for the most part, but has been slightly reactive around other dogs. It is not impossible for her to enjoy other dogs, but it will likely take repeated, slow introductions. Dakota is incredibly sweet and loves people, she just would shine best as the only animal in the home. Dakota has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
