Daisy Mae ~ SURVIVOR

Daisy Mae is a resilient 11⁄2-year-old Boxer mix with a heart as big as her journey. Despite her young age, she’s already overcome more than most dogs ever should. Daisy has been in our care four separate times, each stay telling a story of strength and survival. After being hit by a car, she underwent an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery, and her road to recovery hasn’t been easy. But true to her spirit, Daisy is making steady progress and has recently begun using her leg again—a huge milestone for this brave girl.<br/><br/>Through it all, Daisy Mae has remained incredibly sweet and loving. She gets along well with most other dogs, adores children, and has shown that she’s mostly housebroken. Her gentle nature and determination make her truly special.
