DAISY MAE came to us as an owner surrender. Her original Mom was unable to care for her any longer as she became homeless. <br/><br/>Daisy is 10 pounds and will not get any bigger. Daisy plays very well with both of our long term male dogs & any of our younger female fosters. Our older girls (12 + years) no longer play but they love Daisy. <br/><br/>Daisy is a riot and she has a definite sense of humor. She cuddles in bed with me at night or in a bed with another small dog on the floor next to my bed. Daisy is sweet and loving to people and other dogs in our home (I am her foster Mom) and becomes attached to your shoes or clothing. She will carry them around the house (prancing) and sleep with them like a child would with a pacifier. Daisy is completely potty trained, very smart, easily trained to tricks, willing and wanting to please and does well in the car, She is afraid of larger dogs we've just learned when my brother came to visit with his easy going 90 pound German Shepherd. <br/><br/>You are semi-retired with one adult home all day & are an experienced dog owner. You have another small sweetheart (male or non agressive female) at home looking for a buddy. Daisy will do well going everywhere with you. As with all adoptions, she may develop some separation anxiety, probably for the first 6 months as you will be technically her 3rd home. <br/><br/>Our BASIC Vetting protocol: Spay/neuter, all shots including Distemper, Parvo, Bordatella. (We do not over vaccinate). Heartworm & Fecal to Laboratory testing through Antech Labs. Dental if necessary. Complete Blood Count when indicated. Micro-chipped with Home Again. All of our dogs come with a comprehensive paperwork package that includes all originals of our protocol & every piece of paperwork from the moment we take in the dog. The complete chain of custody is passed to you the adopter. You need to do nothing for a year with our dogs as we have done it all. Our tax deductible adoption donation is $750.00 for adults.
