Daisy - Foster to Adopt's Story
(Note: The adoption fee is in Canadian dollars.)

Note: Daisy is currently in Ontario, Canada in a foster home and is doing well! She is adoptable in Ontario.

Say hello to Daisy, a happy-go-lucky girl with a big smile. Daisy is the kind of dog who adores people and loves to make new friends. She wants to be a good girl. She will look at you eagerly and try to do as you ask. You can just see her wheels turning! See the video above.

You will be the center of her attention, unless there is another dog to play with! Because Daisy has lots of energy, a *home with another playful dog is required.* She has the energy and focus to be a great running or hiking buddy, too. She gets a burst of energy in the evenings, wanting to play for a while, and then settles.

Daisy has mild separation anxiety. She barks as you leave the house, and then when you are out of sight, she stops barking and goes to sleep. She is never destructive in the home.

She has incontinence issues, as some spayed females develop, and is on estrogen therapy, which is definitely helping.

Daisy will is a counter surfer and garbage thief. She will quickly, quietly gulp found food or treats at every opportunity.

Yes, Daisy is a dog for committed, experienced hound people, and she will richly reward you with her devotion and smiles.

Read more about Daisy:
--Daisy is 29 kg (64 lbs), about 5-6 years old, a gorgeous lemon Foxhound girl
--Daisy is fully vetted, spayed, including all vaccines
--Crate-trained, although she will whine in her crate until she settles
--Leash-training is a work in progress, but as her walk progresses, she relaxes a bit
--Daisy is interested in cats, but does not chase them
--Because Daisy is bouncy, kids over 10 years old are best, as she might topple smaller children
--Adoption fee is $575 Canadian dollars

Look at her sweet, eager expression.
