Daisy (fka Doris)'s Story

Meet Daisy!

Daisy has already had to start over twice in her life. We're hoping she never has to do it again.

In 2022, Daisy was rescued from a confiscation case in Alabama, leaving behind a difficult beginning no dog deserves. Shortly after arriving in WI, she finally found a loving family where she learned that people could be kind, couches were comfortable, and life could be peaceful. Now, because her adopter is facing serious health and financial challenges, Daisy is once again searching for a place to call home.

This sweet 9-year-old, 30-pound mixed breed has a sleek black coat with a white blaze on her chest and a heart that's just waiting to love someone again. She may be a little cautious at first, but once she feels safe, her joyful personality shines. She greets every meal with her signature "happy dance," loves crunchy apples and carrots, and enjoys spending time outside—if she knows her favorite people are close by.

When the day winds down, Daisy is happiest curled up next to you on the couch or resting quietly by your chair. She doesn't ask for much—just patience, kindness, and the reassurance that she's finally home for good.

Daisy is good with other dogs and cats but would do best in a home without children.

Daisy has already lost the family she loved once through circumstances no one could control. She deserves a future where she'll never have to wonder where she belongs again. If you're looking for a gentle, devoted companion with so much love left to give, Daisy is waiting for you.

Daisy is available for adoption through Ma, Paws, & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Adoption fee is $250.
