Daisy's Story

Hi! My name is Daisy & I'm a 1.5 year old female tricolor beagle! I'm an active girl! I like to move & sniff! I'm also very loving & I adore attention! But I'm a beagle, so if I get loose, I'll run off! I've always lived outside in a pen, but I want to be part of a family and live in a home with my people! So I'll need work on housetraining and house manners - but I'm smart. I've never really had a chance to play with toys - but I'm anxious to find out about them! I'm a little thing! I only weigh about 22 lbs. I've been raised with children as young as 8, & I'm great with them! I haven't been raised around other dogs or cats, except for my sister Bella who is also available for adoption. We want separate homes, though - it's that sibling rivalry thing, you know. Please consider making me part of your family! I just want to be part of a family & loved! I will be spayed before I'm adopted. My photo is coming soon! Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
