Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy!

"My name is Daisy and I am a 3.5 year old boxer mix, weighing about 65 pounds. I can be timid at first, but once I trust you, I am the biggest love and the best snuggle bug! I would do best in a female-only home, or a home with patient & calm men who will give me time to warm up to them. I love babies and small children, but I can be nervous around bigger kids and teenagers. I do well in homes with other dogs (as long as I am the only alpha-female), but I can also be your one and only pup! Unfortunately, I cannot be in a home with cats or small pets like rabbits and birds.

Some other fun facts about me:

I love my exercise. My current foster daddy walks me several miles a day, but I would also be happy with a big fenced in yard where I can run around. I also do great on hiking or camping trips.

I am very well house trained and can be trusted not to have any accidents if you are gone for the day.

Chicken is my absolute favorite! If my meals and treats are chicken-based, you will make me one happy dog!

I love to socialize and play with other dogs.

Introductions to new people need to be slow and positive until I am comfortable with them.

I am in great shape and have no physical issues. The only medicine I take is 1 blue pill each morning that helps to keep my anxiety under control.

If you think I would be a good fit for your family, please put in an application or look for me at one of Salfid’s local events!"

To apply for Daisy, fill out an application at our website SalfidRescue.org/apply
