Daisy's Story
Daisy has not had an easy life. She was brought into a shelter in Kentucky as a stray on New Years Day... along with her 6 puppies. She showed evidence of neglect and having to fend for herself for quite a long time. She was covered in bites, wounds and what appeared to be burns. She appears to be around 2 years old. All the while she was taking care of her 6 boys, giving everything from herself. She was emaciated and in really rough shape. Fast forward 3 months, and she is barely recognizable as the same dog. She is healthy, gaining weight up to 36 pounds, has weaned her puppies and was spayed on March 5. She loves playing with other dogs. She has learned to walk on a leash and sit. Daisy is house broken, crate trained and doing well. Now she needs a home that she can call her own, where she is safe and no longer had to scrounge for food. Daisy is looking for someone to love her and who is patient, and she continues to learn that life can be happy and warm.

If you have any ?s, feel free to contact her foster mom Erin at 610-306-3387.
