HOWEVER, there's a lot of extra stuff to consider before applying. Primarily, the financial burden of adopting a dog with a heart condition.<br/>Daisy-Anne's heart medication is about $200/month. She could be on this for 6 months. She could be on it for years, if not a lifetime. We do not know at this point.<br/>Daisy-Anne will require cardiology follow ups every 6 months for a least a year or two, if not longer. These are specialist appointments and cannot be done by a regular veterinarian.<br/>We do not know whether Daisy-Anne's heart function will be completely, 100% normal or not. Only time will tell. <br/>If you are looking for a running/hiking/sporting/adventure partner, she is NOT a good candidate.
