Daisy's Story

Daisy is a 3yr old pittie mix, very friendly once introduced to both dogs and people. She’s crate trained but needs help with potty training, will urinate outside but needs a lot of encouragement to poop outside and will hold it until she gets inside. She gets very excited with her balls and going for walks and that’s what led her to get a 'bite report' at the shelter.

She jumped up to get the leash and accidentally caught the dog walker’s finger. So not even an intentional bite, but broke skin. A shelter manager brought Daisy to be "euthanized" by a local veterinarian, who refused and took custody of Daisy and now needs help to find her forever home.

She hasn’t had an incident since being at the vet. She does well indoors but would appreciate a place to run as fast as she can chasing her balls.

http://Tinyurl.com/FFRPshortApp

Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
