At three years old and about 61 pounds, I’m a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle heart, a laid-back personality, and a smile that seems to bloom wherever I go.<br/><br/>Life with me is calm, sweet, and full of companionship. I enjoy slow walks where we can take in the world together. I’m already crate and house trained and walk nicely on a leash. I also know sit and stay, and because I’m eager to please and pretty clever, I’m the kind of dog who loves learning and making my people proud. One of the things people notice right away is how friendly and social I am. I truly love being around people—all shapes and sizes. Kids, grown-ups, visitors, neighbors… everyone is a potential new friend in my book. I also do wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, so I’m the kind of girl who can easily fit into a family that already has a few furry members.<br/><br/>But my very favorite thing in the whole world is affection. Give me a little love and I’ll melt right into you like sunshine on a field of daisies. If you stop petting me before I’m quite ready, I have the sweetest way of asking for more—I’ll gently lift my paw and place it on you as if to say, “Excuse me… I think you forgot something.” I’m just that kind of girl: soft, sweet, and full of love to give.
