Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy - A Soulful, Sensitive Girl Ready for Peace & Stability

Daisy is a gentle, tender-hearted St. Bernard who wants nothing more than a quiet home, soft affection, and a person she can bond deeply with. She loves couch cuddles, gentle butt scratches, and simply being near the person she trusts most.

Her journey has not been easy. Daisy survived:
A puppy-mill start to life
Severe illness and extreme malnourishment
A traumatic incident that nearly took her life as a puppy
A long transport journey from the South in hopes of a brighter future

But she fought back - and she won.
Her resilience is incredible, and it has shaped her soft, sensitive spirit. She needs someone who understands trauma and can offer the patience and predictability she thrives in.

Daisy is wonderful in the home:
Loving once she warms up
Housebroken
Enjoys routine
Barks at passersby but settles quickly
Does best on-leash and feels safest with calm introductions to new people

She currently lives with a small dog and two cats, but those relationships took months of slow, structured introduction. Because of her past, she may never be fully comfortable with new animals, so an only-pet home is ideal and happiest match for her but we are willing to try calm intros to other dogs.

Daisy's family loves her deeply, but due to serious home safety issues and illness, they are being forced to relocate to emergency housing where they cannot take her. This is an act of love - ensuring she continues receiving excellent care, stability, and compassion.

Daisy's Perfect Home

A peaceful, adult household where she can feel secure, decompress, and build trust at her own pace. Someone who believes in second chances... and knows that the quiet dogs with the gentle hearts often love the hardest.

If Daisy sounds like the companion your heart has been waiting for, she is ready to meet her forever person

Apply at www.milestofreedomanimalrescue.org
