Daisy's Story

Daisy is a young girl, under a year old, who found her way to us as a stray. She's a bit of a shy sweetheart — the kind of dog who needs a little time to trust you, but once she does, she leans right into you for love.

She's cautious with new people at first and likes to take things at her own pace, but she's never anything but gentle and respectful. Give her space to warm up, and she'll reward you with quiet affection.

Daisy has a healthy appetite and loves mealtime! She hasn't quite discovered the joy of toys yet, but we think that's just because she hasn't had the chance — we bet a fun-loving side is in there waiting to come out with the right family.

She's also shown she can be a great friend to other dogs, sniffing and following along happily when introduced to one during her time with us. We'd love for her to meet any resident dogs before coming home, just to make sure everyone hits it off.

Because Daisy is on the shy side, she'd do best in a home with older kids (5 and up) who can give her the gentle, patient energy she needs. We don't yet know how she'd do with cats.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs someone to believe in her, Daisy might be exactly who you've been waiting for!
