Daisy's Story

Before their arrival at Noah's Ark in March, Daisy and Luna had a difficult start. These sweet girls, around 3 years old, came to us after their owner was no longer able to care for them. They had been living in a pen and arrived covered in fleas and ticks, but with lots of love and care, they've made a wonderful transformation.<br/><br/>Daisy is the more outgoing of the pair and loves meeting new people, while Luna is a little more reserved and prefers to take her time getting to know you. Once she feels safe, her gentle, loving personality shines through. These dogs are looking for a family who will give them the happy, comfortable life they deserve. If you're looking for one or two loyal companions with hearts full of love, Daisy and Luna are ready to meet you.

Noah's Ark Animal Foundation's Adoption Policy

If you would like to adopt a cat or kitten(dog or puppy) from Noah’s Ark, an adoption counselor is available during open hours on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, other times by appointment. If you would like to schedule a visit, please call 641-472-6080 to schedule an appointment. The Adoption Application (in PDF format) may be completed at the shelter, emailed or faxed. Applications are processed in the order received. In order to hold the cat/kitten (dog/puppy) until the meet and greet, a completed approved application must be on file. If you are traveling from out of town to Fairfield and desire a same day adoption, please submit your completed application at least one day in advance of your visit. We want every adoption to be successful. In the event that you are unable to care for the cat/kitten (dog/puppy), it is shelter policy that you return the animal to Noah’s Ark in Fairfield, Iowa.
