Daisy's Story

Daisy is Snoopy's mother! Daisy and Snoopy-I will group these 2 together as they are rarely separated. Daisy is the mother, a 2 year old spayed female Jack Russell mix, white with black ears. Snoopy is the daughter, an 11 month old spayed female Jack Russell, white with brown ears. There were owner relinquished on July 6th, 2011. They were found along the St. Marks Trail. The owners were eventually found via microchip which had been placed in Daisy (she had been originally adopted from the shelter-she should have never had a litter!), but the owner did not want the dogs back. The Good Samaritan who originally brought the dogs to us paid for the treatment of their skin problems and their spays to help us defray the cost of their care. Both dogs had serious skin problems (bacterial infection in Daisy; bacterial infection and demodex in Snoopy). Dr. Brown was the treating veterinarian. Once their skin issues had resolved, both dogs were spayed. Daisy and Snoopy are miserable if separated. We are hoping to find a home that will take both of them. Recently, while being fostered by an employee, it came to light that maybe Daisy and Snoopy should live in a cat-free house-nough said. Beth Bouloy is currently working with the girls on house training and obedience training-all is going well. Both girls are currently in foster care with a possible adoption home as of 11-14-11!

Adoption Fee: $150.00 for both Daisy and Snoopy

If you would like to make a donation in addition to the adoption fee, it would greatly benefit Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor (CARE) in placing these wonderful babies in forever homes!
