Daisy is one of the smartest dogs I have ever met. She learns quickly and at times seems to out think the people she is with. She chases balls, does a few tricks, but really shines at figuring out puzzles and tasks on her own. She can leap really high, and every year is fascinated by the barn swallows that nest in the eves around the house. She doesn’t want to hurt them, but she does like to watch.

She is very food motivated and will try to steal other dogs’ meals if you don’t watch her. She also requires a sturdy fenced-in yard to keep her safe since she is part hound and could wander if left loose. Daisy will also climb a chain link fence, so she needs a secure fence, such as a privacy fence or another type which is climb-proof.

Daisy is about 6 years of age, spayed, fully vaccinated, and heart worm negative. She weighs about 60 lbs and gets along well with other dogs. She is cat aggressive, so her forever home must be without cats. She is also likely to chase dogs smaller than herself. She loves people and kids and will play all day if you let her.
