Meet Daisy!
DOB: January 2026
Weight: 37lbs
Disposition: Affectionate, Cuddly, Playful

History:
Daisy was about six months old when she began frequenting a local school as a stray. A student brought her home, but the family wasn't able to keep her, so she eventually found her way into the rescue.

Amazing Qualities:
Daisy is a serious cuddle enthusiast. She thinks she's a lap dog and will happily soak up affection from her people. She's a great listener, stays close to her human or the pack, and has a wonderfully affectionate personality. Even storms don't bother her, and her foster says she has loads of love and happiness to bring to the right family.

Best Home:
Daisy would be a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loving, adaptable companion. Her foster describes her as a total snuggler who thinks she's a lap dog. She's great with children, cats and seniors, and gets along with dogs once she gets to know them.

Interested in adopting?
If you're interested in meeting Daisy, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt. The Barking Lot Rescue's Adoption Policy
Having rescued over 9,000 dogs since our inception in 2006, we are primarily volunteer run with a soft spot for the underdogs. Our Temporary Barkers come from all over the world as we have partnerships with Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand, Four Paws in Cambodia/Vietnam and Ark119 in Korea from which we've taken in over 1000 dog meat trade survivors. We also rescue heavily from Mexico where the abandoned dog population is extensive, the neglect is vast and the stories are heart wrenching. Located on 10 acres in San Diego County, we adopt to anywhere in the US and Canada. Most adopters visit us live to meet our Temporary Barkers, but we also have the capacity to conduct virtual play dates via video. It's our goal to find an excellent match suited to both you and each of our Temporary Barkers. To do such, our adoption process includes an adoption application, a home check, a play date and an adoption contract. Please visit our website today to find your match!
