Daisy 's Story

Meet Daisy — a compact bundle of sweetness, sass, and snorts.

Daisy is a French Bulldog/Pug mix with a huge personality packed into a small, irresistibly squishy body. She’s playful, affectionate, and deeply committed to the important things in life: wrestling with dog friends, soaking up attention from her people, and curling up for epic nap sessions.

Her energy level is the best kind of “bulldog balanced” — excited butt wiggles and joyful zooms when the day begins, spontaneous bursts of play throughout the day, and then long, cozy snoozes alongside her foster siblings. She loves engaging with the people and dogs she knows and shows her happiness with tippy taps, snuffles, and classic Frenchie commentary.

Daisy is especially eye-catching thanks to her mismatched eyes (one blue, one brown — yes, she knows she’s cute). She’s affectionate and social, happiest when she’s included in the action or snuggled nearby.

True to her bulldog roots, Daisy has a little stubborn streak and a strong sense of opinion — especially on walks, where she may occasionally pause to reconsider your route choices. A home with a secure yard would be a great fit for her, giving her space to explore and play on her own terms. She’s still learning the basics and will thrive with a consistent routine, gentle guidance, and a family that appreciates her goofy, lovable nature.

Daisy is mostly house trained and comfortable using pee pads, though she doesn’t always announce when she needs to go out. She isn’t a big fan of the crate at first but does settle once she knows she’s safe. Like many bulldogs, she has mild allergy symptoms that are currently being evaluated, and her ears are already feeling much better.

At the end of the day, Daisy is more sweet than studious — a cuddly, playful, expressive little dog who will bring laughter, warmth, and a lot of personality into the right home. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with charm for days and snorts for emphasis, Daisy might just be your girl.

I also created an Instagram account so I can market her (and future fosters). I've followed the New Hope insta and tagged it in my first reel. Feel free to repost! The account is FosterFailATX :)

Adoption Fee $450

We verify references for our fosters and volunteers to make sure our rescued animals have the best care while waiting for their forever homes. Likewise, we ask any potential adopter fill out and submit our adoption application prior to scheduling a meet and greet with a pet in a foster home. This does not obligate you to adopt, but it is the first step towards being added to our approved list of adopters. Applicants are approved pending vet reference and personal reference checks, and a home visit. All current animals in the home must be spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines as well as heartworm and flea prevention and any information provided on an application will be verified. Thank you for your patience with our process! We are grateful you are looking to adopt your next pet.
