Daisy's Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Daisy came to us extremely terrified, more so than any other scared dog we have ever cared for. It took weeks before I could touch her. She slowly became a very loving dog, learning to trust us, and the other dogs in the home. Unfortunately, Daisy was raised in a home with all of her siblings, and didn’t have very much human interaction. Now that she is away from her siblings and meeting more people, we can start to see her true personality coming out! We are starting to get some really good cuddles in with her, and she is showing signs of being a very loving companion. Daisy‘s new owner will need to have some patience, and give her time to come out of her scared little shell. I would love to see Daisy get into a very quiet home that doesn’t have many visitors. I think she will be happy with or without fur siblings. She likes being around cats and dogs, but doesn’t have any interest in wrestling. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
