Daisy's Story

She’s about 3 years old and weighs just 23 pounds.

Daisy was surrendered to a local shelter shortly after having puppies. She was understandably terrified and completely shut down. When the shelter reached out for help, we immediately said yes—and we’re so glad we did! That scared little dog blossomed almost instantly in her foster home, and it’s clear she’s now ready to find her forever family.

Daisy is a joyful, playful, and very affectionate girl. She absolutely loves people and wants to be right in the middle of everything. She can be a little pushy when other dogs are getting attention—she prefers the spotlight to be on her! That said, she gets along great with other dogs and especially adores the puppies in her foster home. She loves to run outside and is always ready to start a fun game of chase.

Daisy will require a fenced yard at this time, as she is not yet leash trained. She is crate trained and does very well. Her house training is coming along nicely, too. When she arrived, she had no training at all, but she’s quickly learned that outside is where she should go and is on a consistent schedule. She still uses pee pads, as that’s what she was used to, but with patience and continued training, we believe she’ll be fully house trained in no time. As with any new adoption, some accidents should be expected while she adjusts to a new home and routine.

Daisy is a wonderful dog who has come so far—she just needs a loving home to finally call her own.

Daisy is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $475
