Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy, a 9-year-old Beagle mix who found herself at the shelter through absolutely no fault of her own. The property where she had been living decided they no longer wanted dogs residing there, and her owner was unable to bring her home. And just like that, this sweet senior girl had to say goodbye to everything familiar.

Daisy didn’t do anything wrong. She just got caught in circumstances she couldn’t control.

At 9 years old, Daisy is past the puppy chaos and fully in her “let’s just enjoy life” era. She loves slow strolls where she can take in all the smells (classic Beagle girl), cozy naps, and gentle affection. She’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you and simply be content.

There’s something especially tender about senior dogs in the shelter. They don’t understand why their world changed. They just quietly hope someone new will choose them.

Daisy deserves a soft landing. A comfy bed. A family who sees the value in a loyal, loving companion who still has plenty of good years and tail wags left to give.

If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a sweet, steady girl who just wants to belong again, Daisy is waiting. And she will love you with everything she has.
