Daisy's Story

It's everyone's favorite flower girl, Daisy!

My story begins with a ruff start - the shelter received a call that a dog had been struck by a motor vehicle and was in need of emergency assistance. The staff rushed me to the hospital to ensure that I did not have any broken bones or internal injuries and thankfully, I received a clean bill of health. Despite the fact that I was well fed, friendly and clean, the shelter's efforts to reunite me with my family proved futile as nobody stepped forward to reclaim me.

I am a very sweet girl who wants nothing more than to spend my time soliciting belly rubs from my favorite humans. Though I can be a bit shy around some new faces, I tend to warm up fairly quickly and would make a loving family companion. I walk well on my leash and would enjoy accompanying my new humans on some pawesome outdoor adventures. If you have a resident pup who enjoys spending time with some doggie pals, we may be a great match. No cats for me though please. Mom brought me in the cat room to meet some of those crazy cats and I became very uncomfortable and defensive when being swatted at. Blame the stinky kitties - they started it!

Not to brag or anything but I'm an all-around great pup with a ton of potential for the right family. Hit that button and start your adoption inquiry now!
