Dahlia's Story

Dahlia is an 11-week-old pit mix puppy with a big personality packed into a little body. Nicknamed Dora the Explorer (and affectionately Dilly Dally), she is brave, curious, and always on a mission to check out what’s happening next. Nothing fazes this girl—she walks into new situations with confidence and a wagging tail, ready to investigate everything in her path.

She is incredibly loving but definitely prefers being with her people or out exploring over hanging out in a crate. Dahlia has a hilarious soft spot for coffee (she will absolutely try to sneak a lick if given the chance) and considers brooms and mops her natural enemies. Like her siblings, she’s in her “baby shark” phase, doing great with the dog door, stairs, and overnight crate routine (sleeping until about 4am!). She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, respects corrections, and ignores the cat. Dahlia is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion.

Apply today - https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHVA/Dog
