Dahlia (aka Dilly Dally)'s Story

Dahlia, affectionately known as Dilly Dally), lost her home through no fault of her own. Her loving owner passed awat unexpectedly, and he had no family that could take her. We misheard her name when told. We thought they said Dahlia, like the flower. Her name is actually Dally, like Dilly Dally. Her owner named her that because she has always been a slow mover...even as a puppy. Dally wants nothing more than a comfy bed and snuggles. She is calm, quiet and gentle. We were told that Dally is 5 years old, and she is a boxer mix. We do not know what she is mixed with. She does have an underbite and a docked tail. Dally needs a diet/exercise plan ASAP. This girl is VERY overweight. She is probably around 70 pounds, and she should be more like 55-60. Dally has lived with both dogs and cats. She has done well with all. She has never lived with children, but we were told she was always ok when around them. Older kids would probably be better for this slow moving girl. Dally has started her vet care, but she won't be spayed until Wednesday November 12th. She is available to meet now, but she won't be able to officially be adopted until that is done. Give the pound a call if you want to meet this sweet girl. 330-339-2616. Her adoption fee is $145 and includes all her vet care and a license.
