Dahlia's Story

Meet Dahlia

Well, she is, of course, the most precious little sweet potato who has never done anything wrong in her whole life

Dahlia is a 4-year-old, 19-pound sweetheart who loves everyone. She happily runs to greet people, soaking up every pet and bit of attention she can get. She enjoys being outdoors—sunbathing on the patio, peeking under the gate to watch the world go by, and excitedly waiting for her walks. She’s great on a leash… until she realizes it’s time to go home, then she turns into a tiny statue (treats help!).

She’s friendly and curious with all dogs she meets, completely unfazed by even the grumpy ones, and indifferent to cats. At home, she’s a loyal little shadow who follows her person everywhere. Dahlia doesn’t chew shoes or socks but does love hard chews and Kongs to keep her happy and busy.

She’s still perfecting her potty training and would likely learn even faster with another dog to show her the ropes. Like many Frenchies, Dahlia has a skincare routine—regular ear and wrinkle cleanings, paw washing, and moisturizing for her elbows and snout. She loves the attention during her “spa time”

Dahlia is heartworm negative, loves her meals (and pup cups ), and is gentle, calm, and affectionate. She’s been great with men and women of all ages and would likely do just fine with kids too. This darling girl would make a wonderful companion for just about any home.

If you’d like to meet Dahlia, please fill out an application at www.wrwtx.org
