Dahlia's Story
Dahlia (Dolly for short) is a smart, playful and affectionate young dog, and she's so excited to find her forever home! Athletic and energetic, Dahlia has plenty of love and fun to bring to the right family. She is very affectionate and will be your best friend for life.

Dolly is being professionally trained by “Nick’s Dog Training” and she is doing a beautiful job learning her basic manners and learning to trust people. She is a very fast learner and has come a long way since her days in the shelter. She is eager to please and very good motivated, but she will do ANYTHING for a ball.

Dolly does well with other dogs that have similar energy levels and size (or larger) but we recommend a home without cats.

At only 2-3 years old, Dahlia still has lots of playful energy. She loves nothing more than chasing a ball, but she also loves stuffed animals - even if they don’t stay stuffed for long! Dolly would love a home where she can get lots of exercise and stimulation. She would make an excellent running partner - but she also likes to just snuggle up on the couch too. As long as she is around her people, she’s happy!

Although it is not required, She would do best in a home with a privacy fence and with someone that will continue her training to help her be the best version of herself. She’s a bit nervous around strangers but is learning to trust again and she is really starting to enjoy her trips to local businesses where she gets tons of attention and treats!

Dahlia is a gorgeous girl who we know will make a great companion for someone. If you think you could give Dahlia the home she needs, please get in touch!
