Cypress's Story

Meet Cypress — She's Ready to Be Someone's Everything

Just after Christmas, Cypress was found wandering near the Yadkin River with two other dogs. She had clearly had litters before and was likely abandoned. But even after all she's been through, this sweet brindle Boxer mix never stopped trusting people.

When her rescuer found her, Cypress walked up with her head lowered and the softest, most hopeful eyes — as if she knew her life was about to change.

She is 3–4 years old, heartworm negative, and has had her rabies and first parvo vaccines. She will be scheduled to be spayed soon. She loves to run and play with other dogs. Most of all, Cypress is loyal. Devoted. Grateful. She bonds deeply and just wants a safe place to call home.

This girl will give her whole heart to her person. She's waited long enough. Cypress is heartworm negative and has received her rabies vaccine and first parvo vaccination. She's healthy, strong, and ready for her fresh start! She's the perfect age to join a family with kids and other dogs, or someone that is looking for a walking companion. She does love a good run in an outdoor space, so a home with big fenced in yard is great, or dog park visits.

Cypress is the kind of dog who will devote her whole heart to her person. She's been through enough — now she's ready for a forever home where she'll be cherished, safe, and loved the way she deserves.

If you're ready for a faithful companion who will love you endlessly, please apply to meet Cypress today by submitting an adoption application
