Cypress's Story

•Cypress•

This little "big" guy has a heart of gold, and the huge brown boba eyes to go with it. He is now 4 months old and around 18 lbs. We do not expect him to exceed 40 lbs full grown.

Perpetually happy. Kind. Big floppy ears you can pet for hours. He prefers sleeping very close to his humans or with another dog. In fact, he just wants to be near someone for kisses and wag that perfect little tail!

He was pulled from an overcrowded Kentucky shelter where he struggled with untreated skin issues on his face but was later able to be reunited with his litter mate for a time to be fostered and learn what living indoors with a real family means.

Walks on a leash well & knows basic commands. Cypress loves car rides and just being with people. He can also sit quietly in his crate with a Benebone for hours or overnight.

His house training is going well if we stick to a schedule. He just wants to please.

Cypress is currently fostered in a rowdy home with his sister Magnolia, multiple sized resident dogs, free ranging tortoise & pet parrot, and he has been introduced to many farm animals including kitties, chickens, ducks, goats & horses. Today he learned what cattle are as well.

We hope he can be adopted into a family with fur siblings or human ones; he has so much heart to offer the right family.
https://www.woodstockanimalfoundation.org/adopt-a-dog/
