**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.<br/><br/>Cupid is just 14 weeks & 30ish lbs, but this sweet boy is aiming straight for your heart! <br/><br/>Cupid is already going potty outside like a total pro (yes, really!), learning basic commands - “sit” is his specialty, especially when treats are involved, and he's learning how to be alone in the crate at night though he loves it during the day with his toys (prefers the squeaky ones!). <br/><br/>He has expert-level cuddling skills and is professional velcro dog status with nuding for pets, belly rubs, and laying with his people. <br/> <br/>He’s going to be a big boy and will need to be taught manners and routine, but he’s all softness and sweetness — the kind of dog who wants to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your forever best friend! <br/><br/>Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
