Cupcake, Female, 1 year old, 50 pounds <br/><br/>Meet Cupcake!<br/>She’s spent 8 weeks at GCI (Grafton Correctional Institute) living and working with an individual trainer and now ready to find a wonderful home!!<br/><br/>This 1 year old Cattle Dog mix originally came all the way to FAPL from an overcrowded shelter in Texas! She’s an extra friendly GORGEOUS gal with an enthusiastic, nature!<br/><br/>True to her breed, Cupcake is fun, playful, and energetic. She needs an adopter who will appreciate that daily mental and physical activity is what she needs. Going on walks and being your hiking buddy is what she lives for! She also LOVES playing with other dogs with her same energy level- she just has a blast with other dogs!! Cupcake is a herding breed, and keeping this in mind, best with older children (10+).<br/><br/>Cupcake is very friendly with other dogs and she dreams of finding the most perfect home. Let’s make that happen and give her a short shelter stay! <br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
