Cupcake's Story

Meet Cupcake

This sweet Lab mix is equal parts cuddle bug and gentle goofball. Cupcake may take a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a loving companion who adores quiet snuggles and soft affection. After a calm play session or a stroll around the yard, he's happiest curled up beside his favorite person, soaking in the comfort of being close.

When Cupcake gets comfortable, his happy tail starts wagging and his playful side peeks through - little bursts of joy that make him all the more endearing. Because he can be a bit shy at first, he would thrive with a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace and celebrate his small victories.

Cupcake has lived with other dogs before and may enjoy a calm canine companion. We're not sure how he feels about cats. Due to his gentle nature, he could do well with respectful kiddos who understand he may need a little time to feel brave.

If you're looking for a tender-hearted best friend, a quiet cuddle partner, and a pup whose love is truly special once earned, Cupcake might be the perfect match.

Apply to adopt today, and/or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions!
