Culture Crave's Story
Culture Crave A187126
51 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old

Who has a soft spot for a special boy? 💙

-This sweet boy is an absolute love! He was all wiggly and excited to come out of his kennel, and once he was out, he showed us what a good boy he is. He walks nicely without pulling and is happy to run and play in the yard.

-He has an old injury to his front right foot that healed a little wonky, so he often walks on the side of the foot. When he's sitting and relaxing, he tends to hold it up. It doesn't appear to cause him any discomfort, and it certainly hasn't stopped him from enjoying life! He gets around well, loves to run and play, and is ready to make the most of every moment.

-And when he's not busy playing, he's perfectly happy being a lap dog. He loves pets and attention, gives plenty of kisses, and clearly thinks being close to his people is the best place to be. He enjoys treats, knows how to sit, and takes them decently. He even briefly entertained himself by tossing a stuffie around.

-All around, he's just a really good boy with a whole lot of love to give. ❤️ We'd love to see this special guy find someone who will appreciate him exactly as he is.

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
