She is full of life and ready to find her new home. She will need to remain on prescription food to ensure she does not have any more bladder stones. She is a lovely little girl and will make a wonderful pet!

Cuddles, a 10 year old, 14 pound poodle mix, is new in rescue. She was surrendered to the rescue on Sunday afternoon by her family because they no longer had time for her or her medical issues. She was reported to have skin issues. While she does have itchy skin, her more pressing issue was the blood we saw in her urine.

Cuddles was taken to the vet first thing Monday morning. The vet performed some tests and it was revealed she had bladder stones. She was placed on pain medications, antibiotics and specialized food to shrink the stones. After a week of treatment she was still miserable and in a lot of pain. After re-evaluation, the vet scheduled her for surgery. The stones were removed on Monday, March 16th and sent to the lab to determine the type so we can prevent them in the future.

Cuddles is now recovering from surgery and is already feeling better. Cuddles deserves the best and we intend to help her find it! She is the sweetest!!
