Given her past, it’s completely understandable that she may need a little time to settle into her new home. Patience, understanding, and plenty of positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her build confidence and feel secure in her new routine. That said, Cuddle might just surprise you! Despite everything she’s been through, she’s remarkably well-adjusted and ready to connect. In fact, she’s incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves being around her people. She’s the kind of dog who will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give (and then ask for a little more!). As with any new 4 legged family member, we recommend taking things slow while she acclimates to her surroundings. Cuddle would likely do well in a home with people of most ages, though she can be a bit enthusiastic when seeking affection. Because of this, she’ll do best with sturdy kids or adults who are comfortable gently redirecting her excitement. With a little time and a lot of love, Cuddle is sure to blossom into an even more confident, devoted companion.
