Despite such a rough beginning, Crystal has shown nothing but gentleness and quiet resilience. She’s a softhearted pup who is ready to find a family that will treasure her.<br/><br/>Her appearance has us guessing when it comes to breed. This litter seems to be quite the adorable mix! Our best estimate is Australian Cattle Dog blended with German Wirehaired Pointer, but whatever her breed combination may be, Crystal brings her own unique charm to the group.<br/><br/>Crystal weighs just 5.4 pounds and is a petite sweetheart. She’s a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and absolutely loves to cuddle and loves to play. With patience, socialization, and positive training, Crystal will grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. She is eager to bond and thrive with a family who will give her consistency, kindness, and lots of love.<br/><br/>To support each puppy’s individual development, we are adopting the litter out into separate homes rather than placing siblings together.<br/><br/>Crystal is ready to begin her new life and leave her difficult start behind. We’ll be featuring one puppy each day, but you are welcome to meet the entire litter Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Calaveras County Animal Services. All puppies, including Crystal, will be spayed or neutered before heading to their new homes.
